Lori Roe
Lori Roe is an owner of Breathe Yoga Studio in Greece and is a pillar of the yoga community in Rochester. Lori Graduated with a BS in education from the University of New Hampshire and achieved a Masters in Special education from Nazareth. She started her career as a special education teacher at BOCES #2. She taught for 7 years and left to become the coordinator of Special Education for Spencerport School District. She was then pursued by certification for a school district administrator at that time.
Her first principalship was at Kirk Rd intermediate school in Greece. I loved working there and stayed for 4 years. She left Kirk Road to become a principal of Durand Eastman intermediate school in the East Irondequoit school district. She stayed there for the remainder of her professional career- staying for 20 years at the same school.
In 2016 she retired and became the co-owner of the breathe yoga franchise in Greece.
“I feel in love with yoga in 2013 at the Greece studio. I was the first person in the door the day the studio opened in 2013 and I have never left. It was just meant to be that I was here.” Lori says.
“What I love is to teach, connect with people, and build strong community. I am really blessed to be able to love what I do everyday.”
